Following our busiest ever winter period, the Junior Academy took a short break over Easter to recuperate ready for the Spring sessions.
It was a real credit to parents and juniors during the break to see so many of our Academy members up practising and playing on the course.
Last weekend saw a big turnout for our first lesson of this warmer period, with over 40 juniors signing up for this series and a further 10 local primary schools registering for the ever-popular ‘Golf For All’ programme.
St Oswalds were first to the club for their Trefloyne Manor experience, with 31 children from Years 4 and 5 taking part. Everyone enjoyed learning more about the game in the beautiful sunshine. Each child was rewarded with three free Academy lessons and we look forward to seeing them at the club soon.
Please remember the Junior Academy is open to all children aged from 3-18, with sessions costing from just £1. Our award-winning PGA director of golf and his team are on hand to provide first class coaching experiences in a fun and relaxed environment.
