A fantastic morning at the Trefloyne Manor Junior Academy last weekend. A showery morning didn’t stop us getting into the grind! We worked on pitching with a game of what Academy coach Ryan Townsend calls ‘Over The Gate’.

We started off the day with our first boys group, with a quality showing in points.

Golfer of the Week went to Logan Day! Some perfect shots in the game got him the award!

Golfer of the Week for the second group went to Zac Evans, three perfect shots in a row and several others earning him the award. Cooper was also excellent. We also welcomed a new recruit, Logan, who started off very well.

Before lunch, was the hour for the girls. Very close and all played very well, with some excellent scoring. Molly Bevan won Golfer of the Week, with a special mention for Beth Evans, who, like her brother, scored three perfect shots in a row in our game. Well done all!

Next session is tomorrow (Saturday), starting at 9 am.
