Trefloyne club championships

Last Saturday and Sunday was the Trefloyne Manor club championships

Congratulations to our 2017 club champion Gavin Scotcher who claimed his fifth championship over the weekend! Following 36 holes, Gavin was tied with Simon Arthur on 152 and a tense two hole play off followed, the first in the event’s history! Gavin eventually triumphed with some solid driving and iron play at both play off holes. Simon took the nett event by six strokes with a fantastic 140 total.

Congratulations to Gavin and all who took part on an excellent weekend of golf. Thanks also goes to Oliver for organising the competition and the ground staff in getting the course in excellent condition.

Junior Academy

A fantastic day was held at the junior academy by academy coach Ryan Townsend. First session back and the start of the summer series.

Weather was much better than recent days which produced some great golf from our young stars.

We started off the morning with the boys working on short and mid-irons through the session.

Golfer of the week this week went to Jed! It was very close between Beau and Jed, but Jed just had the edge.

For the girls this week, golfer of the week went to Alice, again a close one between Maisie and Alice, but Alice was more consistent throughout the hour witch earned her the award.

Junior academy is back on August 5. Boys 10-11 am, then the girls 11 am - 12 noon.
