Wales and British Lions legends Shane Williams and Ryan Jones along with TV personality and rugby coach Sean Holley recently all came along to enjoy a day’s golf at Trefloyne.

“The event all came about from the generosity of Kim, Joan, Tom and Sian Beynon freeing up Trefloyne’s facilities for the day enabling a small charity golf event to take place,” explained one of the organisers, Stuart Mackay.

“Several teams of local ex-sportsmen all enjoyed the breakfast, golf, buffet and hospitality given by the whole team at Trefloyne.

“The day was a tremendous success and money was raised for both local sport and the Huntington’s Disease Association charity appeal.

“Thanks also go to Mike Evans who kindly donated prizes to raffle, and Ross Grieve Photography who captured the day on camera with some amazing personalised shots of those playing,” he added.
