Unable to play on their own course last Saturday, Tenby GC’s Saturday Swingers embarked on an outing to South Pembs GC.

The Pennar course was in an excellent overall condition and the Swingers were made very welcome throughout the day.

A total of 26 Swingers took part off the tough back tees which made scoring difficult.

Austin Davies, who played his golf at South Pembs for many years, had the best score with 33 points. He narrowly beat Steve Court, who carded 32 points and was also a local member for several years.

Eight Swingers handed in 28 points - Steve Maytum, Neil Thomas, Darren Thomas, Martin Morris, Viv John, Andy Cope, Piers Bradbury and Richard Ormond.
