On Saturday the Under 8s boys headed away to Llangwm.

They knew this was going to be a tough game but played their hearts out and came away with a 2-0 win, playing some great football with all the boys getting involved.

There was some great passing and overall it was one of the best games they’ve played, and hopefully they can carry this confidence into our next game.

UNDER 10s

Tenby Dragons Under 10s hosted Clarbeston Road on a lovely sunny Saturday morning.

The home side started sprightly passing the ball around the park.

Ethan Wright clearly had his shooting boots on with a long range effort hitting the back of the net at pace to give the Seasiders a deserved lead.

Bailey, having a fine game for Tenby, in what turned out to be a defensive midfield position, slid a ball between the lines to George, whom calmly slotted the ball past the opposing keeper to extend the score.

The Dragons continued to play good football in the second quarter with Arlo, Lucas, Evan, Sam, all linking up well with the two Ethan’s, George and Max.

The goals continued to flow for the home side, with George adding his second and Sam scoring with a good finish. Tenby’s fifth goal went to the dubious goals panel, and he was awarded the goal, to make it a brace for the day.

Clarbeston Road pulled a goal back prior to half time, to make it 5-1 at the interval.

Once all refreshed, Louis continued in his normal defensive fashion, giving confidence to his teammates to roam forward. Jesse made several fine saves for Tenby, and was linking up play with George on the wide left to great effect.

Ethan Lewis showed some excellent movement down the inside left channel for the Dragons, with some deft touches, and Lucas had a fine match in right midfield

The final quarter saw Tenby’s Bailey score a much deserved goal, before Clarby added to their account, to make the final score 6-2.

Top Joe’s ‘Man of the Match’ award went to Bailey who played very well.
