Under 10s

remain unbeaten

Tenby Under 10s (seen right) have had a fantastic season and to date are undefeated. Last Saturday they travelled to play against a strong Prendergast Villa team.

Tenby lost the toss and Prendergast took the kick-off. Immediately, Tenby found themselves in their own half and having to defend hard.

After a couple of minutes, Prendergast had some good running down the wing and Tenby found themselves 1-0 down. Once again Prendergast showed good determination and it soon became 2-0.

At the end of the first quarter, Angie Nicholls must have given her team a good talking to. As soon as Tenby came back on, they seemed a different team and it wasn’t long before Iori B managed to bring the score to 2-1. Lewis was next to take his chance and the score was soon levelled at 2-2.

After a shaky start, Tenby soon found better form and further goals came from Toby and Leon, to make the half-time score 4-2.

The next quarter saw some lovely passing between the Tenby team and the score was increased by goals from Morgan and two from Dylan Kidd. At threequarter time, the score was 7-2.

Prendergast tried their hardest to put pressure on the Tenby defence, but they held strong and brought out Kyle from goal to play on the wing.

In the last quarter, goals followed from Lewys, Jack, Leon and Iori B, to make the final score 11-2. Well done boys, another solid performance.

No more league games, but five tournaments to finish the season, good luck and well done.

Also a huge thank you to coach Angela Nicholls and Gavin Nicholas, who have done a sound job coaching the boys.

Team: Iori, Iorri, Kyle, Toby, Dylan K, Lewis, Dylan D, Morgan, Jack, Tristan and Leon.

Under 12s

reach cup final

Congratulations to Tenby Under 12s (seen left) who progressed to the cup final after beating Camrose 6-2 on Tuesday. They will face Hakin in the final, which promises to be a thrilling encounter.

An outstanding first half performance blew the visiting team away, with Tenby 6-0 up. Credit to Camrose who never gave up and were a credit to their coaches in the second half.

Tenby travel to Prendergast tomorrow (Saturday) in their final game. A win will make them unbeaten in the league.
