Narberth are out of this year’s senior cup after losing away to multiple winners Hakin United.

With both teams in form this season (despite Hakin having only played five league games, their cup form has been good) this match promised plenty and when Narberth took the lead thanks to a Dafydd Wright goal, it certainly brought the game to life.

Hakin pulled back to lead 2-1 at the break and their superiority told in the second half with a further three goals to see them through.

Carew are through, too, having overcome the stern challenge of West Dragons.

The Rooks prevailed on penalties, winning 5-4 when the match ended 3-3 after extra-time thanks to goals by Jack and Sam Christopher and Scott Fearney too.

Dylan Davies scored again for Hundleton, with Jack Phillips adding another, although they went down 2-3 at home to Clarbeston Road and defeat, too, for Angle after a thumping 7-0 defeat at Merlins Bridge.

There was a great game at Lamphey in their Bush Tavern sponsored clash against Monkton Swifts in division one.

The Swifts came out on top in the local derby, winning 6-2 against the beleaguered Stags.

For the hosts, Nico Morrison and Rees Griffiths scored, while Josh Dearsley scored twice for the Swifts alongside goals from Blake James, Martin Carroll and Liam Finnegan.

A second win of the season for Pennar Robins saw them climb out of the bottom two.

The Robins won 1-0 at Milford United after a Luke Phillips goal gave the the edge over the hosts.

In division two, the game between Lawrenny and Merlins Bridge seconds was postponed, while St. Clears had a one-sided win over Letterston winning 9-1 away from home.

In their best display of the season, Sean Seymour-Davies shone, scoring three goals with Nathan Evans and Will Evans hitting a brace apiece.

The other goals were scored by Nick Squire and Steve Thomas.

After losing to Saundersfoot last week, Kilgetty got back to winning way with a comprehensive 8-2 win at Solva, while Saundersfoot Sports won again after two goals by Nick Cope and one from Jack Franklin saw them win 3- at St. Ishmaels.

In division three, Luke Raymond was on song for Narberth seconds in their 2-2 draw at Broad Haven, while goals by Ben Hall and Joe McEwan were not enough for Manorbier United at Milford United seconds as they went down 3-2.

Pembroke Boro lost 5-0 at Camrose, while the game between Pendine and Carew seconds was postponed.

Pennar Robins’ seconds had a good win at home to St. Florence, winning 7-1, but it was a day to forget for Angle seconds after they went down 15-1 at home to St. Ishmaels’ seconds. Matthew Hughes scored their only goal in the Manorbier Mowers sponsored clash.

Pennar Robins’ thirds made it a great day for the club, with all three teams winning on the day.

They beat Herbrandston 3-2 thanks to goals by Paul Sly, Tom Probert and Daniel Heaps.

The game between Kilgetty seconds and their Lamphey counterparts was postponed.

Wayne Boswell was on fire for Monkton Swifts’ seconds as his hat-trick helped them to a 5-1 win over Broad Haven seconds in the All White Now sponsored game

Rees Davies and Liam Butland were the others to score.

St. Clears’ seconds will be hoping Taf Building supplies sponsor them again after they beat Solva seconds 9-2.

Lewis Driscoll led the way with five goals, the others coming from Andrew McCabe, Joe Gouldingray, Tristan Hancock and Jamie Gouldingray.

In division five, Cosheston beat Lawrenny seconds 5-2 in their Carl Cookson sponsored match.

Luke Wickland and Lee Dignan both scored for the hosts, with Dalton Boswell nipping in for the other, while Harry Thomas and Joe Kidney scored for Lawrenny.

Carew thirds went down 4-3 at Johnston seconds, Hundleton seconds beat Milford Athletic seconds 8-0, while Jake Webster and Nathan Farmiloe scored for Saundersfoot Seconds, but they went down 9-2 at home to Milford United thirds.
