Angle put up a good show at home against Milford United on Saturday, but fell down flat, losing 3-2.
Chris Richards scored both goals for the hosts, but his efforts were not enough as they were pipped to the post.
Narberth’s miserable run of form continued over the weekend, too, with a 4-0 defeat away at Goodwick United, while Pennar Robins produced the shock of the day in beating champions-elect Hakin United 1-0.
Victory came away from home, too, with Scott Meaney’s goal separating the teams.
The win was all the more impressive as it means Hakin move from top to third, yet Pennar remain rooted to the foot of the division. Bottom team beating the best. It doesn’t happen often.
Carew’s unbeaten streak came to a sudden halt after they lost at Merlins Bridge.
Victory for the Wizards ensured they take over top spot in the league, although the Rooks didn’t disgrace themselves as they lost 3-2.
Ian Derbyshire and Scott Ferney scored for the visitors.
There was a tremendous win for Monkton Swifts, however, as they hammered Johnston 13-0.
It was a good win for the Swifts, but it’s a sorry state of affairs for the Tigers.
Ben Adams scored no less than eight goals for the hosts, with Martin Carroll scoring twice. The other goals came from Jason Finnegan, Luke Probert and Thomas Doyle.
There was an epic at the Clicketts as Tenby and Lamphey drew 5-5.
Tenby’s goals were all scored by Sam Christopher, while Lamphey’s goals came from Josh Sture, Miles Davies, Danno Kitts and two from Josh Dearsley.
Hundleton made it through to the final of the second division cup after a hard fought win over Hakin United’s seconds.
Dylan Davies, Arron Goldsmith and Joe Buckle all scored for the victors.
In league action, Matthew Lewis’s goal was Lawrenny’s only highlight in their 5-1 loss at home against Merlins Bridge, while St. Clears won 7-1 at home against Letterston.
Saundersfoot Sports lost 1-0 at St. Ishmaels.
