Only 13 games were able to go ahead in the latest round of the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League as waterlogged pitches once again rendered most games unplayable.
Their seconds were able to play, however, and they finished with a 3-0 win over Clarbeston Road seconds.
Just two games were possible in division one as Angle hosted Herbrandston, but came unstuck losing 2-1, Chris Richards netting their only goal, while Goodwick beat Neyland 5-1.
In division two, Hundleton had a good 3-1 win at Prendergast Villa thanks to a brace by Aaron Goldsmith and a Craig Manning strike, while Fishguard beat St. Ishmaels 4-1 and Goodwick United seconds beat Letterston 3-2.
Carew seconds and their counterparts from Saundersfoot Sports drew 2-2, with Sean Whitfield netting both Carew goals, while in another derby up the road at Cosheston, the Cougars and Pennar seconds tied 1-1 as Josh Lealand and Carl John scored.
In the division’s other game, Hakin United seconds lost 3-1 at home to Johnston seconds.
Pembroke Boro earned a good win at home in division four as they beat Milford Athletic seconds 4-3. A brace by Phil John and one apiece by Jamie Byrne and Josh Sture was enough for the hosts to finish victorious.
Pennar Thirds were at Solva seconds and lost 4-2, despite goals from Chris Lloyd and Marc Valentine, while St. Florence were on the wrong end of a 3-2 result at home to Neyland seconds. Colin Batley scored both goals for the hosts.
Meanwhile, in division five, the goals were certainly flying in between Monkton Swifts’ seconds and Pembroke Boro seconds as the Swifts prevailed 7-3.
Liam Finnegan struck a hat-trick for the hosts alongside two apiece from James Preece and Liam Stapleton, while Jordan Wright struck twice for the Boro, with Rhys Allison scoring the other.
