Lamphey gave a good account of themselves over the weekend despite having to face the mighty Vikings away from home.

As ever, Hakin are up there with the best in division one while Lamphey are languishing down the bottom but the Stags refused to let that stand in their way as they pushed the hosts hard to finally lose out 2-1. Billy Davies scored Lamphey’s only goal.

Pennar Robins were away too, travelling to Merlins Bridge to take on the division’s fourth placed team.

They eventually went down 5-2 against one of the division’s powerhouses with Sam Southcott and Josh Dursley scoring their goals.

Monkton Swifts remain in second following their 2-0 win over St Clears, Dylan Davies and Ryan Griffiths scoring their goals while Narberth secured a much needed win after their dismal start to the season with a 3-1 win at Neyland, Tony Evans finishing the game with a hat-trick.

It was derby day at Saundersfoot as the home team took on Carew and it was the Rooks that went home with the points with a hard fought 2-1 win over the home team.

Nicky Cope scored for the home side while Iwan Izzard and Lloyd Hughes scored for the victors.

In division two, Hundelton gave a good account of themselves at home against St Ishmaels although it was the visitors who came out on top winning 4-2 despite goals from Connor Hay and Jack Blunsden while Lawrenny had a tough time of it at home against Fishguard Sports losing 5-1, Matt Lewis scoring their only goal.

Henry Lawrence and Josh Bevan were on fire for Kilgetty in their 2-1 win over Llangwm/H’west CC while in division three, Monkton Swifts’ seconds came out on top against Carew seconds winning 3-2.

Niall Williams and Harvey Langstone scored for Carew with Carl Thomas nipping in for one and Jack Lear grabbing two for the Swifts.

Ashley Smith and Jay Smith were on fire for St Florence however their brilliance couldn’t prevent them going down 4-2 at Milford United seconds while Lewis Bansai scored Narberth seconds’ only goal in their 2-1 loss at home to Milford Athletic.

Pembroke Boro lost 2-1 at Pendine with Jason Evans scoring their only goal while Pendine’s came courtesy of an Ewan Jones strike and an own goal.

It was a good day for Pennar Robins’ seconds as they beat Solva seconds 16-0 thanks to goals from Phil Hayo, two each from Ceri Griffiths and Gideon Hochin, five from Rhys Sture and six from Jack Sutherland.

Mark Snelling was on the scoresheet for St Clears’ seconds in their 6-1 loss at home to Goodwick United seconds while in division four, Hundleton seconds were victorious at Camrose winning 3-2.

Three goals by Jason Davies and one each for Gavin Wickland, Dalton Boswell and Ryan Bowen were enough for Cosheston to help overcome Herbrandston seconds 6-2 with Kilgetty going down by the same scoreline at home to Broad Haven seconds, Ben Harris and Jack Walters scoring for the Kingsmoor outfit.

Pembroke Boro seconds lost 4-2 against Llangwm/H’west CC seconds but it was better news for Pennar Robins’ thirds as they hammered Neyland seconds 8-1 after four goals by Sonny Price, two from Nathan Kendrick and one each by Marco Valentine and Jamie Hunt.

Finally, in division five, Carew thirds beat Saundersfoot seconds 3-2, while Tenby lost their first game of the season 3-2 at home against Monkton Swifts’ thirds.
