Following Storm Dennis which wiped out the entire fixture list last weekend, usual service was resumed as football was played on the pitches of Pembrokeshire on Saturday.

Carew’s quest for the Division One tittle continued after they thrashed Fishguard Sports.

The hosts put five goals past their opponents, Scott Ferney’s wonderful season continuing as he scored a brace for his side.

Shaun Whitfield also scored a brace and a goal from Hayden Shapcott completed the rout.

The race for the title is shaping up to be an exciting one with the top three separated by just one point.

However, Monkton Swifts and Hakin United have played two and three games less, respectively, than Carew.

Elsewhere, Jay Kennedy’s brace helped Neyland to a 4-1 win over St Clears.

Jason Griffiths and Ollie Hughes completed the scoring for the home side, with Will Evans scoring a consolation for the visitors.

Saundersfoot Sports’ match against Narberth was postponed and will be played at a later date.

In Division Two Kilgetty got back to winning ways with a superb 3-0 win at Lawrenny.

Richard Cope’s brace and a goal from Richard Tebbutt helped Kilgetty to their first win of 2020.

Moving on to Division Three, Cosheston AFC’s good season continued as they moved into fifth place with a 4-1 win over Haverfordwest CC.

Jake Campbell scored two goals with Corey Edge and Simon Lewis also getting in on the scoring act.

There was a defeat for Carew II who went down 2-1 against Goodwick United II, while Pembroke Boro’s game against Pendine was postponed.

Despite two goals from Jake Webster, St Florence’s quest for Fourth Division Cup glory was ended after they lost 3-2 against Milford United II.

Normal service was resumed for Tenby as they scored double figures against Solva II.

The away side put 13 goals past their opponents and are now just one point behind top of the table Broad Haven II.

Meanwhile, Narberth II got a well-earned point with a 1-1 draw against Haverfordwest CC II.

While St Clears II’s game against Pennar Robins II was postponed.

There was a thrilling game in the Fifth Division Cup between Pembroke Boro II and Herbrandston II.

The match ended 5-3 in favour of Herbrandston II, with Pembroke Boro bowing out of the competition at the second round stage.

Robson Walkie and Jordan Boswell’s brace weren’t enough as the home side went out.

Lastly in Division Five, Carew III’s matched their first team’s result with a 5-0 win against Lawrenny II.

A brace from Neilson Cole and goals from Harvey Drummond, Sam Goodwin and Luke Hicks helped their side to a convincing win.
