On Friday, John Loring (caretaker/manager St. Catherine’s Island) presented a contribution to Ben Evans (goalkeeper player/manager, Saundersfoot AFC) at the Sports and Social Club, Saundersfoot, with the aim of helping towards the ongoing challenge and costs of maintaining the grounds and pitch to the required standard.

John Loring stated: “Great to see the team in good humour prior to their afternoon game. It is hoped that the donation will go a little way to maintaining the ground and pitch to the standard expected by both the home team and visitors. The donation, from the Fry Foundation Fund - St. Catherine’s Island Fort Project is part of the ongoing commitment to support local and regional projects, charities and groups who rely on local support to thrive. We wish the team and all their supporters every success for the future.”
