Saturday saw members of Tenby over-50s walking football team win the inaugural Carmarthen Cup competition held at Carmarthen Town AFC.

After progressing through the initial league stages, Tenby met Carmarthen in a hard fought semi-final. Trailing 1-0 with seconds to go, Carmarthen equalised by virtue of a contentious penalty award. However Tenby progressed through to the final thanks to a 3-1 penalty shoot-out victory.

A tense final against competition favourites, the Exiles, saw Tenby emerge with a narrow 1-0 victory.
