Lamphey Cricket Club will hold their annual general meeting on Wednesday, February 8, at the Lamphey Hall Hotel. The meeting starts at 7.30 pm. Current and new players welcome.

The meeting follows a recent presentation evening held at the hotel in which Jake Griffiths unsurprisingly was crowned Batsman and Players Player of the Year. Griffiths had a fabulous season opening the batting for the Stags, the highlight of which was his monumental innings of 202 not out against Neyland seconds. He also helped an eight-man Lamphey overcome Herbrandston after Herbie posted over 200 in their innings with a score of 83.

Hywel Gibbs was awarded Bowler of the Year, while Nick Shelmerdine won Fielder of the Year.

The Clubman of the Year award went to Julian White, who was also presented with the Champagne Moment trophy for producing a brilliant fielding display in the home clash against Hook seconds.
