ST. ISSELL’S 65 (4)

Another win however was not to be, with the home team coming out on top by a 27-shot margin.

George Cavell, Ken James, John Arman, Mike Carr 23; M. Lloyd 14.

SAUNDERSFOOT 89 PLYMOUTH AND DISTRICT 149
Saundersfoot played a seven-rink friendly last Monday against the Plymouth and District League tourists.
The visitors obviously like the area as this was their third tour to Pembrokeshire in 10 years, always staying in the Merlewood Hotel.
Although losing the match, the game was played in a friendly spirit, with acquaintances being renewed and much banter taking place afterwards in the bar.
Rink scores, with Saundersfoot first and Plymouth skips only, were:
Dave Hicks, Sandra Ingerson, Angie Smith, Mackie Brace 18; Ray Van 10.
Steve Swinglehurst, Chris Ball, John Arman, Paul Blayney 11; Peter Bell 16.
