Pictured are winners from Castle School, Narberth who scooped the recent ‘Young Writer’ competition organised by The Rotary Club of Saundersfoot.

The submitted essays were of a very high quality which made it very difficult for the three judges to choose the winners.

First and Second prizes were awarded in three age categories with every entrant receiving a certificate in appreciation of the hard work and originality in their writings.

The winning essays were forwarded onto the next stage of the competition where they were received with positive comments prior to the final judging.

The Rotary Club of Saundersfoot thank Jim Ball for his dedicated work in Youth Services, and also the Head and Staff of Castle School for their co-operation in Rotary events.
