Pembroke Haven Yacht Club recently held a fundraising event at their clubhouse at Hobbs Point. The S.O.S supper was well attended by members from both Pembroke Haven Yacht Club and Lawrenny Yacht Club.
A hearty two-course meal was provided for the hungry supporters with music -'Sounds of the Sixties' - kindly provided by Keith Dixon.
In the absence of the Commodore, the Vice Commodore Alistair Lindsay gave a warm welcome to Lawrenny Yacht Club members and thanked them for supporting this important event. He also thanked the hard working social committee for organising the evening, which was a huge success.
Funds raised from this event and other events organised by Pembroke Haven Yacht Club will be presented to the local Angle Lifeboat crew in the very near future when the club hold their annual RNLI presentation evening.
