What a difference a day makes! On behalf of all the Tenby Swifts members we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who was involved in the ‘Clean up of the Clicketts’ day held on Saturday. To the volunteers and tradesmen who worked tirelessly on the day, Ben Diment and his Valero volunteers Dan Lee, Alex Williams, Will Allen, and Tom Day. Adam Beavan, Andrew and Sian Emanuel, Simon and Danuta Nash, Ian Badham, Tim Rossiter, Alan Williams, Steph and Carol Waring and in the days beforehand, Stephen ‘Hen’ Vickery, Danuta Nash, David Badham, Sophie Toy, and the endless supply of refreshments to keep us going from Sam Badham and Tori Haditch.

All our young helpers, many of whom play for Tenby Swifts, Iori, Joshua, Hudson, Kyle, Lewis, Rhys, Harry, Fern, Teaghan, Eddy and Owen. All the local businesses, Tredeml Print, A&C Aggregates, Redkite Solicitors, Myrtle House Guest House, Twisted Tangles, Celtic Foods, Ashmole Accountants, LBS Pembroke, CK Roofing, Manorbier Garden Centre, Jewsons Tenby, Four Seasons, Pipers Fish and Chip Shop, and Tenby United committee.

Helen and John Fisher, Sion Brace, Michelle Poole, Will Crockford, Colin ‘Ginger’ Beynon, Alan Williams, Caroline and Danny Henson, Jack Worley, parents, grandparents, friends and relatives who all kindly sponsored essential items and made generous donations towards materials, and finally to LBS Tenby for their guidance and continued patience. Without all your help it wouldn’t have been possible.

Throughout the season, Swifts players have been donating their old boots for resale; this has been a huge success and something that we will continue to do. The money raised was over £180, which was also used to purchase materials and essentials for the day.

We were able to make a real difference to the appearance of the café and changing rooms building and the surrounding area.

A much nicer and safer environment for our children and visiting teams.

Thank you all for your

continued support,

Claire, Emma and Rachel.
