Welsh Water are to invest £2 million in both Tenby and Saundersfoot to improve bathing water quality and reduce the risk of pollution.

The announcement was made by the company this week and is part of an extra £40 million of investment over the next year on projects to benefit customers.

Elsewhere in Pembrokeshire, £9 million is to be invested in a brand new wastewater treatment works and pumping station at Hook and Johnston which will help further protect the environment, reduce flooding and improve river water quality
