Flood alerts for the whole South West Wales coast – including Pembrokeshire – will remain in place for the next few days and into the weekend.

High tides combined with strong winds from Storm Ellen are expected this evening (Thursday, August 20) and Friday morning.

Flood warnings may also be issued indicating a risk to properties.

Locations most at risk include - Dale, Newgale and Amroth.

The public are advised to avoid exposed coastal locations because of the threat posed by large waves.
