Pictured are former members of the Pembroke Dock Guide Unit who were awarded their Baden Powell Challenge Award at Girlguiding Pembrokeshire's recent annual review.

The Baden Powell Award is the highest award a Guide can achieve.

To complete the award, a Guide must complete 10 challenges from the five zones of the Guide programme.

The activities challenge the individual, encourage them to try new skills and provide the opportunity to take part in activities from the wider world of Guiding and Girl Scouting.

Once the 10 challenges are completed, the girls attend a Baden Powell Challenge Adventure, which is a residential event, to celebrate their achievement.

After completing their Baden Powell award, the girls have all moved on to become members of Pembroke Dock Senior section, where they are building on their achievements by working on their Duke of Edinburgh Awards and Girlguiding UK's Look Wider Scheme for 14-25-year-olds.
