Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the official opening of The Pot and Kettle Bistro.

Situated at Sandyhill Nurseries, Saundersfoot, the bistro will be open seven days a week, 9 am - 5 pm, serving something to suit all times of the day.

The bistro has been given a complete overhaul and, with its shabby chic decor, creates a relaxed atmosphere where the cares of the day melt into the background.

From hearty full breakfasts to light snacks and lunches, all food served is home-cooked from the chef’s own recipes using fresh local ingredients.

Other menu highlights are Spanish dishes, vegetarian and fish options and calorie-counting meals.

There’s also a specials board which will change regularly.

In addition, there’s a selection of homemade mouth-watering cakes (including gluten-free ones) too.

A wide range of hot and cold drinks, including herbal teas and milkshakes, is also available. There’s also a fully licensed bar.

Children are welcome and there is a special menu deigned for them, including pizza and pasta, as well as the traditional kids’ favourites.

And what’s more, there’s more in the pipeline, with Sunday lunches, theme nights and live music planned too.

As well as the bistro, conservatory and snug lounge areas, there is a large outdoor seating area which is sure to prove popular when spring and summer arrive.
