The theme of a recent meeting of Tabernacle URC Pembroke was Wales and St. David's Day.
The highlight of the afternoon was harp playing with Jess Foster, who sang and played so beautifully - some of her pieces had been written and composed by herself.
In addition, there were poetry readings by Nikki Anderson, Gweneira Maillard and Tony Thomas, with the minister, Rev. Chris Tolley, impressing all with some Welsh poetry.
The meeting concluded with the Welsh National Anthem, so ably sung by Georgia Roberts and Rebecca Jones.
Afterwards, the enthusiastic and appreciative gathering enjoyed cups of tea, Welsh cakes and barabrith served up by the ladies of the church.
Donations in aid of the church restoration fund were gratefully received.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, March 27, at 2.30 pm, when the theme will be 'Pembroke and area in war time'.
A warm welcome is extended to anyone who would like to go along.
