Tenby’s De Valence venue is in line for a couple of busy weeks with beer and blues on the menu.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of town council, the Deputy Mayor, Clr. Christine Brown told her colleagues that the Tenby Beer Festival hosted by Tenby Round Table will take place from 6 pm on Friday night, with the event open all day from 8 am on Saturday to show the Rugby World Cup final on the big screen at 9 am.
“I know the Round Table boys are disappointed that Wales didn’t get through to the final, but they’ll still be opening the doors early to serve bacon butties with the match,” she said.
There will be some superb bands on both the Friday and Saturday nights and a huge range of beers, cider and a prosecco bar.
The following weekend the De Valence will play host to the annual Blues Festival from Friday, November 8 when Big Joe Louis will be one of the performers, followed on the Saturday night with Sugaray Rayford and Whiskey Rover amongst the acts.
The weekend finishes on the Sunday with Gina Sicilia, John Verity Band and the Dusk Brothers all performing at the venue.
