Tenby Round Table are delighted to again host the Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner on Wednesday, December 4.
This event is entirely funded by the charity work done by Tenby Round Table over the year and has always been intended to provide an evening of fun, food and entertainment to the senior citizens of Tenby who need it.
The dinner is open to all who live in the parish of St. Mary’s Church, Tenby, and are over the age of 65.
While the dinner is free for those who attend, Tenby Round Table are keen to emphasise that it is funded by their charitable events they hold through the year, so they urge those who attend to support their other events through the year, or consider a donation on the night if they are able. With the rising costs of hosting an event of this size, the organisation are keen to ensure they are able to continue hosting it over the coming years.
Tenby Round Table is made up of volunteers who give up their own time to organise, run and host events over the year, with the sole aim of helping local charities, causes and worthy individuals. The organisation has been in existence for over 60 years and is part of the international Round Table family.
The Tablers look forward to hosting those in need of an evening of entertainment and companionship on Wednesday, December 4, at 7 pm.
Footnote: A drop point for Pembrokeshire Baby Bank is also being made available at the dinner, so if anyone attending would like to bring any clothes for up to three-years-old or baby supplies, the Round Table would be delighted to accept them.
