Road closures will be in place for sewerage works to take place in Tenby later this month.

Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, the town clerk Andrew Davies told members that he’d been informed by Pembrokeshire County Council that there will be a temporary road closure on Picton Road starting on Monday, July 23 to last for five days to allow for sewer repairs.

South bound traffic will be diverted via Trafalgar Road, Culver Park and South Cliff Street, with North bound traffic to be diverted via South Cliff Street, South Parade and Trafalgar Road.

A temporary road closure will also take place on Wednesday, August 1, on Warren Street, South Parade, St Florence Parade, Lower Frog Street, St George’s Street, Tudor Square, High Street and White Lion Street from 5.15 to 6 pm to allow for Tenby Retained Firefighters Carnival procession.
