Tenby’s Upper Frog Street will be closed for the day on Monday so that water service works can be carried out.
Members of the town council were informed at their meeting on Tuesday night that Pembrokeshire County Council would implement a road closure for the day so that the works could be carried out in the vicinity of the Normandie Inn.
“Alternative routes for vehicles will be St. George Street, Tudor Square, High Street and White Lion Street,” explained the town clerk, Andrew Davies.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times during the day.
Councillors were also informed that White Lion Street from its junction at Upper Frog Street to the Norton would close for 10 days from Monday, January 23, to allow Western Power Distribution to install electricity cables in that area.
“This is a major crossroads in the town, and will cause major disruption!” remarked Clr. Will Rossiter.
