People from far and wide, including children of all ages, descended on Tenby on New Year’s Eve to celebrate the end of 2019 and bid farewell to the decade.

Pubs and restaurants across the town opened their doors to hundreds of people as they said goodbye to the old year and toasted the start of 2020.

With the new year approaching, a huge crowd gathered in Tudor Square with barely any room to move.

As the clock struck midnight, a huge fireworks display was launched from the town’s Tenby House, literally seeing in the new decade with a bang!

Once the spectacular display was completed, many returned to their parties to continue the celebrations, while some opted to make the quiet journey home.
