Weather permitting, the Tenby Lugger ‘Heritage’ will be unveiled in the resort at the end of the month after recently completing succesful sea trials on the Haven .

The lugger will sail into Tenby Harbour at 5 pm on Saturday, August 25, to be blessed and named by The Vicar of St Mary’s Church, escorted by Tenby Sailing Club’s fleet.

MITEC Technical College started the build of this vessel to teach students about boat building, and volunteers at the The West Wales Maritime Museum Boatyard have worked very hard for six months to finish her.

She will stay in Tenby for a few days before returning to Pembroke Dock.

Club members will be available at times, while she is in Tenby, to show her to visitors.
