A local author is donating profits from his horror blockbuster novel about Tenby to Christian Aid.
Malcolm Stacey, who’s also Tenby secretary for the charity, has pledged all sales of Black Snow tracked back to this news item will go to help hungry families in the world.
Most sales will have to be through Amazon’s Kindle as all bookshops are closed at the moment, though the paperback version of Black Snow can still be ordered online.
Said Malcolm: “There’s a lot more reading going on during the lockdown. While charities like Christian Aid are suffering because their charity shops are closed.
“If people buy this novel it would be a small way of helping out.”
Black Snow features real Tenby people and places in a fictional way. The story of Henry Tudor’s dramatic links with the town are also explored.
Malcolm added: “There are a lot worse things which could happen to Tenby and Pembrokeshire than the lockdown - as you’ll soon discover to your horror, if you read Black Snow!”
