Over Covid time, St Johns Church had a lot of birthdays ending in a 0 without being able to celebrate, so last Saturday, September 3, about 70 folk came to St Johns Church Hall to do just that with family and friends. Even a 101-year-old was coming until Eileen had a fall and ended up in hospital.

With a massive buffet tea supplied by everybody, and a special birthday cake made by Sue and Ian Bonser, everyone enjoyed dancing to the music of Billy Cole, including the great granddaughter of an 80-year-old member. The afternoon ended with Ieuan Davies singing a selection of songs in Welsh. A great fun event!
