Sir, Tenby taxi drivers certainly deserve a second rank to ease congestion in Lower Park Road (Observer, June 7).

In view of the recent County Council declaration of a climate emergency, let’s hope that when they get it, all drivers will observe their legal obligation not to leave engines idling while waiting.

Perhaps our new mayor has a view on this?
