Sir,

I recently had cause to visit Tenby Doctor’s Surgery and queued for an hour from 7.30 am in order to guarantee a doctor’s appointment that day.

Not an ideal arrangement, but that’s how it is.

As the queue became longer, standing in the dark, cold, the rain pouring down, we got chatting and thought how nice it would be if there was a seat, especially for the elderly. Nothing fancy, just an ordinary bench seat.

Alternatively, perhaps the outer lobby could be opened once the staff had arrived.

We would still be standing, but at least in the warm and dry with access to a WC.

What do you think?
