Over the summer, the Friends of Saundersfoot School (FOSS) running team ran the Tenby 10k to raise money jointly for Friends of Saundersfoot School and Paul Sartori.

The team consisted of parents, past pupils, friends and staff and some had never run a 10k before and some were Ironmen and women so had lots of experience.

The team raised a fantastic sum of £849.50. Well done everyone! The FOSS team are delighted with their half and the money raised for them will go towards projects around the school.

On Tuesday, a presentation of £424.75 was made to representatives from Paul Sartori from this year’s FOSS 10k captain, Max Brewster, at the Kilgetty Christmas lights switch on.

Many staff and pupils turned out to watch this and support this fantastic charity and switch-on event.

A huge thank you from everyone at Saundersfoot School and we are proud also to support the work done by the Paul Sartori team.

Max is also seen presenting a cheque for £5,002 on behalf of his aunty, Nicola Bowen, who ran over 100 miles during the summer. Unfortunately, Max was unable to join her on these half marathons. Together, they would like to thank the local community for all their support.
