To mark ‘Hate Crime Week’ (betweeen October 13 and 20) members of Tenby and District Soroptimist International mounted two Awareness Exhibitions, one in the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot and one in Tenby Library.
Working in conjunction with PCSO Rachel Adams, they engaged with members of the public distributing information leaflets explaining the many forms of it, and also bringing to their attention the issue of Mate Crime, which is directed at those who are most vulnerable, trusting and unable to retaliate.
The members really felt that the events had been successful, when some visitors to the stands spoke to PCSO Adams privately about incidents they were either aware of, or had experienced.
