Members of Pembroke Dock Bowling Club have been busy raising money during the club’s 90th anniversary season and recently presented a cheque for £1,000 to SNAP - a Special Needs Assessment Playgroup based in Pennar, Pembroke Dock and Haverfordwest. SNAP caters for children between 18 months and five-years-old who have a disability or developmental delay. Pictured at the presentation are (from left): Diana Davies (club president), Alan Yea (club chairman), Helen (holding Brooklyn) and Miranda. Both Helen and Miranda are one-to-one teachers at SNAP. Brooklyn is three-years-old and the granddaughter of club member Hugh Williams. Brooklyn loves attending SNAP five afternoons a week where she is motivated and encouraged by her one-to-one teacher. Although Brooklyn has had a tough start to her short life, she is always smiling and happy.
