Pembrokeshire County Council are shortly to commence a public consultation on the possible increase in the level of the second home tax premium.
“At the last consultation on this issue the vast majority of responses came from those who own second homes in the area, with very few responses received from Community Councils or individuals,” said a spokesperson for PCC.
“It is vitally important that the Authority receives a broad level of responses, in particular from those who reside in the area and who are impacted by the second homes issue.”
“The consultation will commence towards the end of June, and it is critically important that the full time residents who know, care, and understand the areas history and culture are fully involved, and respond in full.
“This is a matter that effects everyone, as it will effect future generations who aspire to reside here not and only those who might own second homes,” they added.
