Pupils at Orielton CP School in Hundleton have chosen who will represent them this year. Five representatives were elected to the school council, which meets every two weeks; this year the councillors will be Imogen, Dylan, Chloe, Rhys and Fred.

Pupils with ideas for improving their school can talk to their year representative. School councils enable pupils to have a voice and to understand that their opinions count.

Mr. Tim Reed, base leader, said: "Pupil councils provide a basis for active learning of important life skills, such as speaking and listening skills, teamwork, problem-solving, and self confidence."
