Last Friday, six schools from the area were kind enough to send members of their choirs to Asda in Pembroke Dock to sing carols to members of the public and the staff.

The schools involved were Coastlands School from St. Ishmaels, St. Mary's School in Pembroke Dock, Grove School in Pembroke, Pembroke School, Neyland School and Pennar School. The children sang so well and really enjoyed the occasion.

Thanks to the generosity of Asda's customers, the sum of £385 was raised for the Friends of South Pembrokeshire Hospital. As in the past, this money will go towards providing patients, clients, their families and staff with items which are not funded by the Health Board.

Also the Friends have recently donated money to the Cleddau River Day Unit so ingredients could be purchased to make small Christmas cakes for the clients to decorate and sell.
