The Carten100 charity bike ride between Cardiff and Tenby takes place tomorrow (Saturday).
This year’s event is dedicated to ‘Ride For Simon’ - in memory of Simon Edwards who died eight weeks after participating in last year’s ride, after he was diagnosed two years earlier with sarcoma cancer.
A wealth of good causes will benefit from the charity event, with Velindre Cancer Centre and Tenovus Cancer Care this year’s two main charities.
The cyclists will be starting from Cardiff’s City Hall from 7.30 am, and head to Tenby where Tudor Square will be closed to traffic from 1 to 8 pm, for the event, so spectators can cheer participants over the line.
A marquee will be held down the harbour by Tenby and District Lions where refreshments will be served for those taking part.
