Fundraising for the ‘Walk for Maggie’s’ cancer charity event has been taking place at Saundersfoot’s Tesco Express, with the store manager Matt McDermott taking on the 5km sponsored walk on Sunday, July 14, which starts from Burry Port Harbour and follows the Millennium Coastal Path to Festival Fields.

Local fundraiser Caroline Bridle has made cakes towards the cause whilst the Tesco store has also donated a hamper for raffle, which will be drawn the day after Matt’s walk.
