After the huge success in the summer with their event ‘T21 picnic in the park’ young sister and brother Amelia and Wilson Mcbeth from Saundersfoot are putting on yet another fundraising event this weekend to raise money for the charity ‘Follow your Dreams’.
The October funday will be held solely for holidaymakers and caravan owners atHaven Lydstep Beach Holiday Park tomorrow (Saturday) and the first private event the duo have done.
The ‘Follow your Dreams’ charity supports children with learning difficulties through life to achieve their potential and well being, and Amelia and Wilson - the only young ambassadors in Pembrokeshire for the charity, are doing their best to raise awareness and money for this extremely worthwhile cause.
The ‘T21 Picnic in the park’ raised an amazing £780 and the turn out for it was fantastic, with lots of lovely families showing up to support the event, and a great day had by all.
“Recently a ’Follow your Dreams trustee’ Louise, contacted us after hearing about how amazing our event had been, and as she has a holiday home at Haven Lydstep Beach, she informed us that she had previously mentioned holding an event for the charity in the past and with us now on board it was a no brainer!” explained Amelia and Wilson’s mum Sara.
“Site manager David is very kindly allowing us to hold the event as a private function exclusively for owners and holiday makers. It will have a Halloween theme, and there will be lots of fun for all ages throughout the day and night
“Louise - a talented artist herself has painted a fantastic water colour to auction for the charity, and during the day there will also be a raffle with some great prizes up for grabs.
“Amelia and Wilson have been busy asking local businesses for support and yet again Pembrokeshire people have been very generous in helping this worthwhile cause.
“We have restaurant vouchers, hampers, wine and soft toys to name but a few of the gifts donated.
“The wonderful Alexandra Stauber who is an owner at Lydstep has also very kindly offered to do massages in the owners lounge as part of several mini pamper sessions that she’s offering on the day as she is a Tropic Skincare representative,” she added.
