The Saundersfoot in Bloom garden competition - which was cancelled last year - will be held on July 28.

The entry forms for the competition are available at the library, which is open Tuesday and Saturday mornings and Thursday until 4 pm.

Saundersfoot in Bloom secretary Clr. Rosemary Hayes MBE recently told her fellow councillors that judging for the Wales in Bloom event will take place on July 8.

It will be the same judge, Mr. John Woods, as two years ago; and arrangements are to be made to ensure Mr. Woods is greeted and accompanied around the Ward.

The Annual General Meeting of the Saundersfoot in Bloom was very well attended she stated, with thanks given to Mrs. Debbie Ludlow for her continued support and planting of the pots around the village.

The holding of the Flower Festival is still in doubt.
