Guide Dogs Cymru’s Pembrokeshire Branch and Ty Hafan have received a boost from a fundraising event held shortly before lockdown in Saundersfoot.
‘Team Littlefoot’ - Debbie Ludlow, Lyn Sandall and Lynn Knibbs, organised a huge fundraising event which took place at the Regency Hall on March 6.
The evening commenced with the Ukulele Band from Carmarthen, a silent performance of The Hallelujah Chorus by the Silent Monks of Monkston, and a fantastic raffle with super prizes, which hopefully have been or are being enjoyed by the lucky winners.
The evening concluded with a silent disco organised by Gareth Sandall.
This week the members of the Pembrokeshire Fundraising Branch of Guide Dogs Cymru were delighted to receive a magnificent donation of £1,200, with Ty Hafan also receiveing the same amount.
Branch Secretary and local guide dog owner, Eva Rich, expressed sincere gratitude to ‘Team Littlefoot’ and to everyone who supported the event and raffle in March.
“The donation is particularly appreciated by the sixteen guide dog owners in Pembrokeshire as fundraising has been very limited during lockdown,” said Eva.
“Thank you ladies for all your hard work in organising the huge raffle and wonderful evening - we members of the Pembrokeshire Fundraising Branch can’t thank you enough,” she added.
