Father Christmas (with the help of Gerald Rogers) visited the Christmas Party organised by The Rotary Club of Saundersfoot for the Tenderfoot contestants at Wiseman’s Bridge Inn, Saundersfoot.
He is seen here with Sam MacCreath who, at six years old, is the youngest member of the team who competed at the Welsh Disabled Games at Newport International Sports Village in November.
The Tenderfoot team is jointly organised by Saundersfoot and Tenby Rotary Clubs and regularly train on Friday evenings at the Regency Hall in Saundersfoot.
Last year, Disability Sports Wales supported over one million opportunities for disabled people to take part in sport and physical activities. There are over 750 clubs catering for activities ranging from archery to swimming, as well as the more unusual sports of boccia, New Age curling, weight-lifting and target golf.
