THanks go to Sarah Stiles for raising £280 for Pembrokeshire Haematology and Oncology Day Unit (PHODU) at Withybush Hospital.

Sarah ran the Cardiff Half Marathon earlier this month.

Sarah, who is an assistant technical officer at Withybush General Hospital, said: “In my job we have a close relationship with PHODU, making all the chemo for the patients. We go up daily to the unit and, seeing the amazing work the nurses do and how much it’s changed the patients’ experience since moving to the new unit, helped me decide to raise more money to help them continue their efforts.”

Janet Bower, Senior Sister, said: “Thank you to Sarah for fundraising for PHODU. The money raised will be used to enhance the care provided on the unit and will ensure that patients, their families and staff can access a wide range of specialist services and equipment beyond what the NHS can provide.”
