Sir, Daily we read in the newspapers and on television of the state of the roads and that the government does not have the money to carry out the resurfacing that is urgent.

However, in Llanddewi Velfrey, we have seen the A40 resurfaced to a high standard.

Who do we thank for this? The Member of Parliament? The community council? Or G. D. Harries and Sons Limited under its managing director, Janet Phillips, a Llanddewi person.

It is not important why it was done, or who did it. The important thing is, it has been done and we all benefit. Thank you very much.
