Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild members (pictured) were responsible for the successful production and marking of this year's RNLI maritime quiz, enabling the £1 cost of the quizsheet to go entirely to RNLI funds, raising £950.

Mrs. Cynthia Field set the questions and paid printing costs, as she did for her bird quiz in 2010.

Mrs. Jennie McIntosh designed the quiz leaflet, Mrs. Tamzin Lewis marked the completed sheets and dealt with admin.

Entries were received from as far away as the Channel Islands from supporters having holidayed in Pembrokeshire, but the two winners were from Angle, namely Mrs. Linda Hammond and Mrs. Alycia Watkins, who are great fundraisers themselves.

The prize money was donated by lifelong friends of Mrs. Cynthia Field again this year, as they did in 2010.

Pembroke Guild are most appreciative of business outlets in the locality and Pembroke Guild members for distributing and selling the sheets to their loyal supportersthe, even obtaining additional donations in the process.

The 2010 quiz raised £980, a fantastic result also, therefore Mrs. Field is progressing rapidly with her 2012 quiz in aid of the RNLI ,which will be on sale for May 2012.
