The Beach Hut Boutique, Pembroke - great supporters of local charities and the RNLI - will be hosting a charity evening for the RNLI at their gift boutique at 28 Main Street, Pembroke, on Wednesday, November 16, from 6.30 to 9 pm.

The boutique's magical Christmas gift grotto and the 'original' selection of gifts illustrates the imagination that has been put into furnishing this Aladdin's cave right on our doorsteps, so much to see without travelling miles.

RNLI Guild members will serve wine and nibbles to guests on the night, and the ticket proceeds and raffle proceeds will be donated to the RNLI.

There will be RNLI Christmas cards on sale, too, by kind permission of the boutique, and a 10 per cent discount on boutique items on the evening as well.

This is sure to be a very enjoyable RNLI event at this pretty boutique, raising funds with your support for the UK and Northern Ireland's 'free' 24/7 rescue service, operating, not only around our coastlines, but providing a 'flood rescue' service, inland rescue on canals and rivers and, from 2008, a seasonal lifeguard service. Without the support of the public, none of this would be possible.

The evenings at the boutique tend to sell out quite quickly, so it is advisable to contact the ticket sellers early.
